People cant download my torrents

I'll turn off initial then if that's what you feel is better, but I've got it set to upload from both computers, and they both act the same way,. Hopefully it'll spread and get better as more people grab it. If both of your computers are on the same internet you're not giving any more benefit to the peers. Only seed from one of them. Also unless you're connecting to multiple peers initial seed will be slower by default and is not recommended.

While not running initial seed it should continue to upload consistently If this is the only torrent running does it still upload sporadically? The only idea I have for the stoppage is if the "O" optimistic unchoke is active, but with so few peers it should still find a peer it will upload to.

Though I do get movies and books, I mostly download TV episodes that get deleted after I watch them and the ration is met. Unlike you, I'm not very proficient when it comes to understanding how all this works with proxies and blocking and trackers..

Pretty much everything is set to original settings simply because I can't seem to wrap my head around it all. TVJunky Posted February 20, Posted February 20, Good question, Cyberoid. I've been wondering the same thing. Posted November 9, I've just registered to this forum resulting from finding this as a result of a google search. My comment doesn't provide an answer, only deepens the question.

Posted April 20, Hello I've created my own private torrent file, and I'm testing it on another PC with it's own completely separate internet connection, but it gets stuck on status 'connecting to peers' and nothing downloads. Here's what I did in creating my private torrent file Enabled 'bt. Check port and checked that it's open. Created new torrent and inserted trackers Ticked both 'Start seeding' and 'Private torrent' and created torrent file.

Torrent file is now present on host PC and seeding correctly. All other torrents, public and private site trackers download and seed just fine. Any ideas where I am going wrong please? Thank you.
