Ps4 download cannot be paused

The error you are seeing is one that pops up on the PS4 from time to time, it can be due to a number of things. If playing on a disc the first thing to do is check the disc for any scratches or smudges, I fixed the issue with one of my games a while back simply by giving the disc a wipe.

If the issue remains and you are using a disc, first delete the game data and once done eject and reinsert the disc and it should start up. I've never had this happen so I can't say it will work but the game gets added once you start downloading.
